Last night, most of my favorite people were at the website launch party; my five fans and quite a few other people whom I just adore. I always tease those who ask about my fan base. “I have 5 fans and two of them I know.” This is my little joke. Maybe it’s my reminder to stay fresh in the presentation of my songs in order to grow. Maybe it’s my subtle way to doubt. Maybe it is my attempt at being modest. Whatever the case may be, I am happy with my five fans and favorite people.

I am starting to believe in having more than just a fan base, but having a real connection with people; an understanding, an appreciation, a love. The first part of this process started with me. Learning to truly appreciate what God has given me enough to use it properly and never neglect it. About three years ago, I got this.

I am in love with life. I am in love with people who love life. It’s wonderfully contagious thing. It’s the Spirit. I am so thankful for the music being my path to this. And as I get a little deeper in my music, I look forward to this quality. Its about quality. My five fans truly understand this.
